Today I helped Chrissy installing her ADSL. In a few weeks I hope to get ADSL too, German Telekom is soo fucking slow with upgrading their network :-(

So, what did I do in the last days? First of all I stumbled over Perlmonks, a really cool community of perl coders, although most of my posts can be found in the poetry section :o) Saturday and today afternoon I had to work, at least it didn't snow that much. Saturday evening I was also (as usual) in the Kaserbar, it's getting boring in the latst weeks, maybe I should find an alternative... Uhh and I started reading Fool on the hill by Matt Ruff, really a weird story but cool :-)

Last Tuesday we had a class party. Nearly all came and we had a lot of fun. OK, some fuckign asshole took over the music box (Limp Bizkit sux if you hear it all the time) but still a lot of fun. Today I was out in the snow (first REAL snow today) drifting with my mom's car (she don't like that, she fears snow, old people you know...) together with Hubi (who burned his finger with hot glue today) and we had a lot of fun. I hit no trees but the curb twice and one of the snow perches. If it's snows go for the next empty parking place and have fun :-) But don't forget: First steer and then brake!

Of course the test was positive for my brother; Ecstasy and Marijuana. I'm still refuing to do the test and I think she will live with that.

Uhhh my mom really thinks I'd take drugs. Ain't that funny? Of course I will resist to do any of these urinate or blood. You know why? Cuz I know I don't take any drugs and if she found any drugs in our house (I suspect that to be the reason) then it's my lil brother's. Soem 16-year-old sucker taking drugs, but hey was that something I have predicted some years earlier? <TomK32> my mom wants me to piss into a glass, hehe I think she has the fucking suspect that I'd take (illegal) drugs <Xach> i read your web page <Xach> you are probably high on meth right now <TomK32> meth? <andersca> I look forward to go roving in killkenny <TomK32> I'm not high <Xach> how do you explain the red, blurry eyes and the bizarre language on your web page? <Xach> .meeetch/. <TomK32> Xach: There's no image of me on my webiste <TomK32> and the bizarre language is GERMAN <Xach> making up languages is the sign of a drug user <andersca> I don't like drugs <Xach> i don't like drugs, except delicious alcohol <bolsh> Xach: I saw an email comparing drug dealers to software designers (or was it hackers (sic))? <andersca> alcohol isn't a drug <TomK32> If I'd take drugs I'd wear a t-shirt with "Look there are colored clouds in the sky" on it <bolsh> Xach: And alcohol's yang, paracetamol * TomK32 is proud of everything he does <TomK32> no matter if it's legal or not a short snipplet from #gimp at irc.gimp.org

are we mad? hell yeah! Together with Angi I was sitting in da Kaserbar (just came home) and short before 3am a girl sat down next to us. She looked at us quite directly and a minute later her friend (also good looking grrl) came and they wanted us to dance. Dunno why but we didn't, but hey who want to dance with grrls who are that importunate?

I've added the report I hold for my English class 'bout The Beach to my website. Hope ya will read the book and enjoy it like I do. It's a must-have for all who like to travel. Charlie's band will do some studio recordings today. The few songs they've put online last month are a bit crappy (no wonder, live recordings) so I'm really looking forward for the new recordings :-)

Do you know these days where you're starring at your monitor for hours until you realize at once that it's dark all around you? Just happened to me, a bit scary. I'm searching for a php-app to enlist all the books in my shelves, might be a good idea, no? I think I have some 200+ books around me, mostly unread by me but nearly all used. If I come to a second-hand fair-trade I simply can't resist but must buy me some cool books I wanted to read ever since.

and again one plane down in New York. This time Queens not Manhattan. and as last time cnn.com is barely responsing, at least slashdot works as expected. I was down the whole day, crappy German test and my mom didn't gimme my sister's car, so this accident won't down me any more.

what a boring weekend. stayed at home the whole time, was still a bit sick, I even didn't leave the house since Friday midday I think. Susi and Babsi didn't complain about not partying at the Kaserbar (I also have no money yet, something I don't understand...) but we gonna do that net weekend. I finally left mechwars. Now I'm playing no online-game. Although I'm sure that I'll start the next one soon I don't want to play any game anymore. I play some mahjongg and TEG but the most time of the weekend I've read The Beach. Damn I forgot so much since the first reading and some scenes seem new to me.

SNOW

yepp, the first snow in Berchtesgaden, kinda late but a little snow is out there. Our house is about 600m above zero and it should have snowed a few weeks ago at my school which is at 1000m. Dunno what it looks like up there, surely funny with cars trying to get up the mountains ;-) The great creator of Mechwars finally made his treats true and took power from those who openly disagree with his new formula, there's nuclear winter for me, I can't post in the forums, can't build mech or anything else, can't send my mechs and can't talk to my clan :-( he's really a bad looser. I won't check my account for the next few days cuz there's nothing to do, my ward will defense itself if necessary. He's a sucker and although I agree and he is allowed to do such huge changes I don't understand why he don't talk with the players _before_ he makes a change.

Feeling a lot better today, but still a bit sick :-( Only two hours school tomorrow, won't join my sports class. It's still some chaos in mechwars, I'm not sure if the creator will change anything in the current formulas. The only thing that came very clear is that he don't want to discuss with the players about a better solution, they even will kick you from the main IRC channel if you talk about LCUs again and the resistance movement might be forcefully stopped and some players will be deleted in the next few hours I fear. Yes it's cool to be the "great" creator of a game, you can fuck all da stupid players and if they complain kick them, there are enough other people out there who will play your game. If the situation doesn't improve until next week I'll leave the game, even if I'm one of the upper 4% (imagine that). I'm watching the "MTV Europe Music (or Video) Awards", nice colors and that but still boring...

just saw that I didn't post that often in the last weeks/months, so I gonna post every shit that crosses my life ;-) Ya know I'm playing MechWars which I started to play because Planetarion got comercial. In MechWars you have a little "ward" in a country with 34 others, you build constructions, research technology and build some LCUs to generate money and spend it for mechs to attack other people. All what little boys need :o) It's kinda lame because you need about three weeks before you can think about the first attacks. But being among the 500 best (out of 9000) players it's fun again. I'm only seldom involved into conflicts, if then only to help friends and take revenge for them. But today the game got even more boring. The creators decided to install a new formula for raping other peoples LCUs (money machines) and now there are only a few hundred player left who are good targets :-( Of course everyone complains, the TOP5 clans are all named "Change LCU formula back", and so most of the TOP50 single players. I'm sure the creator will change it back =]

Still sick today, but I made it to school. Not a good idea (nearly fell to sleep during my German class) and I was happy when it was over. I'm rereading The Beach by Alex Garland, a really good book and after everyone in my English class has do report on a novel (original English, no translations) I'll report on The Beach. I should finish the book this week i think

I'm sick. OK some may say that's nufin new but I'm physically sick not psychically. My nose is running since Sunday and I'm having a sore throat. I hate to be sick, not being able to live as I'm used to. At Saturday I was at Poldi's, birthday party. It was planned to party into his birthday (which was on Sunday) but short before 11pm he somehow managed to fall into a earthen bowl, stepped into one of the broken pieces and has now two wounds in his foot. A half hour later we were able to persuade him to go to hospital and as it showed one wound had to be sewed. Anyways he came back (only 4 of us brought him to hospital, the rest stayed at the party) a half hour past midnight and we celebrated till 2am :-) Desite all the blood, yes there was was plenty of it, but no one got sick of that cuz everyone was too drunken ;-), it was still a cool party, we emptied countless bottles of alcohol, I had some interesting talks and good music was played. I nearly fell to sleep at 3am but somehow managed to get into one of the guest-beds. Really a cool party :-)

some news from the weird boy's fairyworld :o) Charlie's band barabbas has put up their first two songs. Although the quality could be better it's really cool. Charlie, you rock :-) I've put up a site for my chatboxx. It's still missing some features to prevent idiots from spamming it, but it works quite good now. On Thursday I finished reading No one here gets out alive, a very good biography of Jim Morrison's life. If you care about rock you shoulda read it. I also started my Facharbeit (some 20 pages on a certain topic) for my English class. It's a lot work and that, but cuz I've choosen Jim Morrison, concentrating on his poetry, it will be a pleasure to write it :-) I'll publish it as soon as I've written enough to show you. Sebi, Angi, Hubi and I watched Password Swordfish yesterday. A really nice explosion at the beginning of the movie, this is the bst explosion i ever saw in cinema, really. But the rest, uhmm hacking as Hollywood sees it, but at least there are enough action-scenes between and a big conspiracy. I think the only one who didn't stand above law'n'order was this hacker (Sean I think), most other worked for the evil government. If September 11th (the reason why it started 5 weeks later than planned) wouldn't have happened, then I'd say it's a nice action movie, but with the towers collapsing in mind you will say that this movie has some truth and realism in it which ain't Hollywood fiction anymore. There's also a (funny?) scene when they fly in the bus hanging beneath the transport helicopter through LA and when on of the hostages falls down. Boom. Or how I'd put it: "Base jumper bombed skyscraper" Uhh, and one reason why you should see it if you're a geek or a hacker. They named a hacker (which was killed quite fast :-() Alex Torvalds, yes really, and he's even a Finnish citizen. I wonder if Linus complained or if he said "OK" to this naming. Personally I wouldn't accept it.
