neue Eingangsseite

The summer is over, school's awaiting me soon. I've quit FH Rosenheim and inscribed at the University of Salzburg. I can now live at home the whole week again, close to Johanna. Courses start from October 6th on. I've spent about 5 weeks working on a 1966 Simson Schwalbe scooter. It's yellow, runs quite good (max speed is 65 km/h) and sounds like hell. It's fun to drive through Berchtesgaden with it. Johanna, her family and I were on vacation in Lignano, Italy in late August for two weeks. Such a wonderful time with J. Check out my bookshelf at Bookcrossing

The man who stands for Country music like no one else left us today. Johnny Cash left us this moring and right now I'm listening to his last album "The man comes around", remembering the great time I had listening his tunes. more about him: in German in English

Charlie had a surgery this week. I'm glad that it went well and I still have good chance to meet him one day. Did ya listen to his new song "Dorm Room"? Sounds good. Johanna's dad Rainer and I finished the Simson Schwalbe today. It runs quite well, almost 70 km/h and it's not perfect yet. Some smaller parts are to be done, the paint has to be fixed. Pictures follow tomorrow

Johanna's dad Rainer brought four old (2x 1966, 1974 (all 'Schwalben') and one 1986 SR50) Simson motorbikes home last week. We started to restaurate Johanna's first. Quite a horrible bike which cost 160,- EUR. Too much and the auctionator at EBay didn't tell every damage it had. He even wrote that it was in good state. It surely wasn't. Rainer's trying to get some of the money back. Anyways we took it to pieces and already gave it a new color. Engine and electric will be done next weekend I hope. Rainer got quite an exercise after the two machines the worked at earlier. Of course I got one of the four machines too. A 1966 Schwalbe. A real oldtimer :-) I want to paint it with some Bonsai-Airbrush and get a trailer for it. It will be my bonsai-vehicle =-)

I've set up a Wiki for Bonsai. but it's German-only. I've also written a little forum, some things still missing, but look here and test it for me. The data is saved in a tar-archive. Cool, eh? And a bit older is this simply gallery software. I'll put them up as soon as they are finished.

bonsai, bonsai, bonsai was planned for last weekend. bonais came out. Johanna got hurt at the leg and she wasn't able to drive to Rosenheim, so we spent the weekend at Berchtesgaden and I missed the bonsai exhibition in Raubling (just south of Rosenheim). Also I had no car to drive to Kolbermoor to visit Gerhard Vordwülbeck who is not only president of the "Bonsai Club Deutschland" but has also a collection of 500 bonsais. At least I was at the first meeting of the Bonsai-Workgroup Salzburg/Berchtesgaden. I initiated it so I had to, and I also learned many new things there.

Yesterday's FH-cinema was like five people came. At least the movie - Monsoon Wedding - was fine. A story about a wedding, the brides father in trouble (money but that's normal), the bride having an affair with a different guy and a merly implicated abuse in a girl's youth. Watch it, it has cool music and colors.

Bruchstücke. Viele tausend. Ich bin kaum im Stande sie zusammen zu halten. Sie driften auseinander, geraten außer Kontrolle und entwickeln ein eigenes Leben. Bruckstücke. Mein Leben.

Life's sweet. The newsgroup de.soc.militaer was rejected. Damn tight because they missed the 2/3 maijority only by a few votes. But they cheated anyways, posted the ballot-mail in a web-phorum which surely has nothing to do with usenet. But what made me most angry was that they wanted to modify de.soc.pflichtdienste which is surely not the place where militarists are wanted or needed. peace

English translation will come soon. My gallery using The Gallery program which is realy cool. Mostly pictures taken with new camera. You can also look at my Deviantart-page.

The test went quite easy. The question I took (one out of four) was about Digging by Seamus Heaney which we read in the very first lesson of the course. Had to write a comment about and, if possible, draw some connections to other poems by Heaney. Only poem that I referenced to was Follower but that should be enough. It seems as our Chanceler Gerhard Schröder has come to reason again. Say NO to war! Wars are the result of political failure.

Just met Charlie at #oswd. Didn't see him for some weeks now. He became 22 at Christmas Eve and he's still as insane as I met him. <TomK32> SquireCD: still together with your grrl? <SquireCD> no <SquireCD> she's insane and i had to call the police on her for stalking me <SquireCD> the court gave me a restraining order <TomK32> hahha, that's fun <SquireCD> if she comes to my house again then she'll be arrested <SquireCD> hahah First test this semester: Literature in English today 13:30 I didn't learn for, I didn't read the novel (Athena by John Banville) but at least I've read some of Seamus Heaney's poems. Maybe I reach 70% ;-)
